Wake Up and Cake Up!

I want you to stop the music at the top of this website and really pay attention to this one.... #Important

No more handouts! Time to put in work! In order to make money you have to invest money first. So, what does this have to do with young money? Everything! Young money/Cash Money records is all about making Mula. In 1998 Cash Money signed a $30 Million distribution deal with Universal Records with a $3 Million advance...Do you know what an advance is? An advance is money paid up front that must be paid back before you can make more money. So what am I saying? Universal Records made an Investment in Cash Money because they believed in them. The question of the day is, do you believe in yourself?

You might say yes to that question, but there is a way you can test yourself to see if you really do believe in yourself. If you are not willing to put money, time, energy etc into your music career, how can you expect anyone else to? There are ways to get things done without money but you you will be severely limited.

It really does take money to make money.

It's time for you to wake up and see that,

And you can Wake Up Now!

1. First you have to change your mindset. Stop being cheap and prepare to invest MONEY.

2. Realize that you are investing money into YOURSELF, not the person you are giving it to. Don't fall into the trap of not wanting to support others financially. If you can't help feed other people, why would you want others to help put food on your table?

3. Build a team! Even if that team is just you, yourself and your alter ego. Just be dedicated to yourself! Put in the hours online and offline in order to build a buzz for your brand, even if your brand is you. Stop waiting on a label. Show the label why they should sign you!

4.Understand that a record deal is not always a good thing. If you can make 100% of your sales (minus taxes) why would you sign a deal only to make say $1 per album if that?

5. Finally: Be smart. Please understand that although you have a dream, you still have to live right now. You either have to go to a physical job to produce income or you have to start a business. I left out the other options of making money because I like to stay legal and positive lol.

The point is, you have to do something in order to produce a steady stream of income. If your team is just you and a close buddy, you may have to outsource other resources in order to make more of an impact in the industry. This will cost you money my friend. From my personal experience, you are better off having money to get what you need done because people give you what you pay for. If you didn't pay for anything, you might find out that "help" is not very helpful after all, and some people will not see your vision and understand that money comes later. They will want to be paid for their services up front. This is understandable and you must get this through your head. When you pay others, you set yourself up to be paid in the future. What goes around comes around can be said for good things as well. I'm sure we both can agree that MONEY is more than a good thing, it's GREAT! (in my Tony The Tiger voice lol). I tell you what...I have found out about a way for you to make passive income each month and I will be happy to share this knowledge with you. I only ask that you take this information and run with it. Best of luck on your journey! -tiff :)
