Do you believe in yourself?
Well keep it up because more than likely no one else will believe in you until you make it!
This is especially true of people trying to be int he music or entertainment industry...
People seem to think people just become successful overnight...
Sometimes this is true but most of the time people actually start from the bottom and work their way up. Most of the time your success is dependent on how much you believe in yourself. Are you going to allow someone to tell you that you won't make it?It is true that you cannot control what comes out of a person's mouth, but you can control what you choose to believe! I would also suggest actually limiting the amount of time that you spend around people that doubt your ability to be successful in this industry. At some point you do have to be able to learn to thrive in any environment, but when you are still new at having 100% faith in yourself no matter what, I would separate myself from people that have nothing positive to say about your success.
Also, the next time you find yourself wanting to give up on your dreams do what I do...
1. Make a list of successful companies and individuals
2. Now make a list of reasons why these companies and individuals could have decided not to pursue their dreams.
For example:
Lets take Walmart for example...
Sam Walton (the owner of Walmart, Sams, etc)
Nobody will come to my store, other stores will have better prices, I won't be able to afford the building or land, the workers will quit on me, etc
Now after you have made your lists...go to the websites of the companies and individuals and then ask yourself this question:
Are my fears of failure not the same fears of failure they had?
